Sec. CWhy Us

// Why work with us

Built to Hold
Tolerance

Three things every client can expect on every job, regardless of size.

01

High Precision / Tight Tolerance

Parts and tooling that fit right the first time, verified against the released drawing before they leave the shop.

02

Interactive Development

Design advances in reviewed cycles, so problems surface early instead of at first article.

03

Expert Team

Decades of combined hands-on shop floor experience behind every design decision we make.

Sec. DProcess

// How a job runs

Order of
Operations

Every project advances through the same six stages, with a defined review checkpoint and deliverable at the close of each.

  1. 01

    Interactive Scope of Requirements

    Functional requirements, constraints, budget, and delivery date are defined and refined together before design work begins.

  2. 02

    Interactive Preliminary Design & Analysis

    Early concepts and supporting calculations are developed and reviewed in cycles to confirm the approach is sound.

  3. 03

    Interactive Focus of Design Parameters

    Key design parameters are locked in and agreed upon before moving on to final details.

  4. 04

    Mechanical Design Details

    Focus on specific details for quality, production, and manufacturability.

  5. 05

    Validate Mechanical & Industrial Design Features

    Interactive evaluation of the design against the agreed requirements.

  6. 06

    Detailed Mechanical Design

    Detailed prints and file conversion for prototyping and manufacturing.

Sec. FCompany

// The company

Engineering
and Production
in One Scope

Latin American Industries is a development engineering, design, and manufacturing company based in San Diego, California.

Our practice is built on direct shop-floor experience. Designs are released by engineers who have machined, fabricated, and instrumented the parts they specify, which produces drawings that are manufacturable and tolerances that hold in production.

Engagements range from a single reverse-engineered component to complete product development through short-run manufacturing. Clients receive documented deliverables and a defined point of contact at every stage.
